Our services include but are not limited to FREE vision screening and glasses. If you have insurance, you'll provide it and the foundation will cover the copay. If you don't have insurance, all services, vision screenings and glasses (if needed) are free. 

 The EFOA provides quality, free eye care and eyewear to populations that are uninsured, underinsured and underserved. EFOA also aims to encourage volunteerism as well as raise awareness among all physician to help people regardless of their financial ability. 

  The Eye Foundation of Austin (EFOA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Richard Berkowitz, MD in 2018. He saw the need for indigent eye care in the Austin community. Since then the EFOA has served approximately 450 patients and counting.
